About Irina Butskuvene
Irina lives in a small town in Lithuania. She has traveled many places, especially Europe which she loves immensely.
Most of Irina’s life she has worked as professional interior and furniture designer as well as a painter not only on a canvas but other surfaces as well such as walls, furniture etc.
She had had orders form Sweden, Denmark, Norway and of course Lithuania. Irina also has many paintings in the hands of collectors in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Lithuania and Norway. And yet her life of mural painting has come to a stop, and instead she has settled down with creating abstract paintings with her very own world and perspectives on life.
“My goal is to help people see life in a beautiful way, that makes them view it in a warm light, and be happy.”
You can see this reflect in her work. The most rewarding thing for her is seeing the responses that people make about a finished piece. The joy in their faces is what drives her forward as a person and artist.
